North Texas Longhorns Baseball Club was established in the summer of 2007. Teams were initially comprised of players from the Grayson County area but since our inaugural year, we have broadened our player base to encompass players from all areas of North Texas and have even reached into Oklahoma. 

 

Our primary objective has always focused on player development by emphasizing fundamental baseball. The ultimate goal of our coaches is to train and prepare our players for the high school and collegiate level. Whether it be a 1A or 6A high school; NCAA DI, DII, or DIII, NAIA or JUCO college, our players are provided the best resources, developmental training, and opportunities to succeed on any baseball diamond.

 

Player development is a journey our athletes take with our coaches toward improving their performance both on and off the field.  Over the course of the past twelve years, our coaches have fine-tuned this journey starting with our youth practice regimen and skill development. Our youth season tournament schedules are designed to challenge and push our players to their highest potential by competing with the top teams in their divisions. While we encourage winning, our focus remains on player development. At the high school level, our goal is to place our teams in the best tournaments that will showcase our player's talents while offering maximum exposure to college scouts. Our coaches try to make sure each tournament is a great fit for the team but also offers the best opportunities for our players.

We currently have alumni playing at some of the top colleges in the country, with opportunities to move on to the next level. These colleges include Abilene Christian University, Air Force Academy, Arkansas State, Cisco Junior College, Grayson College, Henderson State, Missouri Southern University, Texas A&M University, Tulane University, and Webster University. Our 2020 and 2021 player commits and interests include University of Houston, Wichita State University, Tulane University, Webster University, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma, Baylor University, Oral Roberts University, and Texas Christian University.
